London Rooftops

Franks Café Peckham – Is a great rooftop bar quite far out of central but worth a visit, climb up a pink staircase to an amazing view of central London. A great place to grab a beer with a mate or have a group catch up but save for a warm (and not windy) day! There is plenty of food choice as well with little market stalls selling a range of street foods. Set on the top of what seems to be an old car park you will also find modern art scattered amongst the picnic style benches. This is also near 'Bussey Building another bar which is perfect for a rooftop drink and also its events at night (I am yet to visit).

Netil 360 – An amazing place to chill on a bean bag with a fab view of the sunset, not much food but if a grassy rooftop is your thing this is a must. Lots of different ciders on offer, plays funky music and is perfect for maybe even getting a tan as it’s a sun trap! Don’t forget your sunglasses.

Bar Elba – A very cute rooftop bar must be over 21! Fairy lights everywhere but beware slightly more expensive. Elba gets very busy after work and is accessed behind another great cocktail bar 'Tonight Josephine' which is worth a visit, (please avoid disappointment by booking) perfect for a girls night with its cute neon quotes and pink the theme everywhere!

The prince of wales Brixton - Pub/club this is the perfect place for a night out that also hosts a large rooftop. When open at night it has many different rooms to be explored. I recommend, even chose to spend my new years here! (best in a big group of mates – one of the most popular places to go in Brixton). Along with other clubs, o2 academy Brixton, Brixton jam, Phonox ect.

Coq De Argent – This is a step up from some of the other rooftop bars I have mentioned as it takes a little more of a serious approach and is more of an after work venue as it's a bit dressy with people in heels and suits. A great grassy/garden like rooftop with a view worth a few pennies located near bank and your bank might literally be what your worrying about when you leave…or not!
