For Coffee...
1. The Earlybird Bakery

Located in one of Birmingham’s increasingly creative and independent hubs, The Earlybird Bakery perches on Kings Heath High-street.  The interior is minimal yet welcoming with warm lighting and friendly faces. Seating may be limited but this only enhances the community feel of the café and invites conversation. Recognising the rise of veganism and conscious living, vegan alternatives are provided and many ingredients are sourced from local providers. If you’re looking for quality coffee and pastries this is the place to go. Tim C the pastry chef has worked in 5* hotels so you can expect the highest quality but without the luxury price tag.

For Lunch...
2. @pizza

Constantly evolving Grand Central has a new addition to its restaurant family. The subway of pizza places @pizza provides you with a personalised pizza in 90 seconds. Understanding the fast pace of city life, the 600 Fahrenheit ovens ensure you’re not waiting around. 48-hour slow proofed dough makes the perfect base for your choice of 50 toppings. And if you’re really in a rush choose from one of their own designs such as the Heartbreaker and the White dog. If you get the chance sit in and wash down your pizza with a craft soda or a Casso cocktail.

 For Drinks...
3. Hop and Scotch

This is one for the gin drinkers and ale lovers. Hidden down Institute road Hop and Scotch is an independent bar and bottle shop already loved by locals. Serving craft beer and real ales, Hop and Scotch is perfect for those looking to broaden their palette. Animal lovers will also be pleased to know dogs are allowed into the bar and may even be greeted by Sam the honorary Hop and Scotch dog. A great location for a cosy drink and a catch up with down to earth vibes and quality pints.
